Choosing between Golden Designs’ Hanko, Arosa and Copenhagen starts with where the sauna will live. Hanko is the compact cabin for two, Arosa is the outdoor barrel for up to four, and Copenhagen offers more cabin space and an 8 kW stove.
All three provide traditional stove heat. Your space, delivery access and electrical plan will narrow the choice faster than the advertised seating number alone.

Hanko: the compact cabin.
Choose Hanko when you want a smaller footprint for a daily two-person routine. Its 64-by-48-inch exterior fits a tighter plan than Copenhagen. The red cedar interior is paired with a hemlock exterior.
Plan a protected location: GDI specifies indoor or covered exterior use. Its 6 kW stove needs 240V / 30A, with a separate 120V / 15A supply for lighting and audio. That electrical work belongs in your project budget.
Arosa: the backyard barrel.
Choose Arosa when an outdoor barrel and room for up to four suit your space. It uses Pacific Premium Cedar and has a bronze privacy glass door. Its current manufacturer dimensions are 84 inches wide, 73 inches deep and 84 inches high.
The base configuration uses a 6 kW stove. An 8 kW upgrade is optional and must be quoted separately; it changes the stove requirement from 30A to 40A at 240V. Lighting still needs 120V / 15A. Follow the barrel’s weather protection instructions and plan a covered structure if you need it completely dry.
Copenhagen: more cabin space.
Choose Copenhagen for up to three people, a larger interior and an 8 kW stove. It combines a red cedar interior with a clear-stained Pacific cedar exterior, plus ceiling lighting and built-in audio.
Its 79-by-59-inch exterior requires more room than Hanko, and the stove needs 240V / 40A. Lighting and audio use 120V / 15A. Like Hanko, this model is specified for indoor or covered exterior installation.

Before it arrives
A clear plan from curb to cabin.
- Share your ZIP and delivery access. Tell us about narrow roads, gates, steep or long driveways, stairs, apartments and island or remote destinations. GDI’s standard freight process uses a 53-foot semi; access must be confirmed.
- Arrange the delivery appointment. The carrier contacts you to schedule. Have someone available to receive and inspect the shipment.
- Plan the move from curbside. Standard freight unloads at the curb or driveway end. You arrange safe movement, assembly and installation; room placement and packaging removal are separate.
- Prepare the site and power. Confirm a suitable level surface, full assembly clearances, ventilation, door swing and electrical work with your installer before ordering.
- Inspect before signing. Photograph the cartons and note visible damage on the delivery receipt. For major damage such as a large puncture, follow GDI’s refusal instructions and contact ColdSweat promptly.

Know your coverage
The cabin and heater have separate warranties.
Golden Designs cabin
5-year limited coverage on properly maintained wood structure, the control panel, applicable harnesses and lights under GDI’s written traditional/hybrid/outdoor terms.
Parts coverage excludes labor. It applies to the original purchaser at the original installation site in the covered territory. Improper installation, modifications, inadequate weather protection and full commercial use are excluded under these terms.
Stove / heater
The stove has its own manufacturer warranty. Confirm the supplied heater model and written coverage with your order.
For a qualifying Harvia heater used at home, Harvia’s current terms list 2 years, with an additional year for eligible electric heaters registered within 30 days. Manufacturer conditions and exclusions apply.
Keep the invoice, serial numbers and installation records. GDI requests registration within 60 days. Contact hello@getcoldsweat.co for help identifying the correct warranty. Other sauna brands have their own coverage.
Before you place a holiday order
- Measure the installation area and the route from the curb.
- Have an electrician confirm the exact model’s power requirements and installation clearances.
- Ask ColdSweat to confirm the configuration, destination freight and estimated lead time.
- Review the approved financing offer, manufacturer warranty and return costs.
