ColdSweat Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be confident in your purchase from ColdSweat. Because many of our products are large, high-value items shipped directly from our manufacturing and distribution partners, return and cancellation eligibility may vary by product and manufacturer.
Returns
To request a return, please contact ColdSweat through our Contact page. Returns must be authorized before any product is shipped back.
Products must generally be unused, uninstalled, and in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for return. Certain products may be subject to manufacturer-specific return restrictions.
Do not ship a product back to the manufacturer or original shipping location without receiving return instructions from ColdSweat.
Return Shipping & Restocking Fees
Unless the product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect due to an error by ColdSweat or our fulfillment partner, customers may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Certain manufacturers may charge restocking fees or other return-related charges. Any applicable fees will be communicated as part of the return authorization process.
Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.
Because orders may be submitted to our suppliers shortly after purchase, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered processing, production, or fulfillment. Manufacturer cancellation fees may apply when applicable.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your product arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact ColdSweat as soon as possible and provide photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping documentation when available.
For freight deliveries, visible shipping damage should also be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing whenever possible.
We will work with the applicable manufacturer or carrier to determine the appropriate resolution.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the return has been received and approved, when a return is required.
Original shipping charges, return freight costs, restocking fees, and other applicable charges may be deducted from the refund unless otherwise required by law or the return results from an error for which ColdSweat or its fulfillment partner is responsible.
Processing times for refunds may vary depending on your financial institution.
Non-Returnable Products
Certain made-to-order, custom, personalized, installed, used, clearance, or final-sale products may not be eligible for return. Any product-specific restrictions will be disclosed where applicable.
Manufacturer-Specific Terms
Some products may be subject to additional manufacturer-specific cancellation, return, or refund terms. Where applicable, these terms will be disclosed on the product page or communicated before fulfillment.
Golden Designs / GDI Products — Return & Cancellation Terms
Products manufactured by Golden Designs, Inc. (GDI) are subject to the following specific terms. These terms apply exclusively to GDI products and do not automatically apply to other ColdSweat products.
Cancellations Cancellation requests for GDI products must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Cancellations requested after this window may not be possible once the order has entered processing or fulfillment.
Return Window & Authorization Returns must be authorized by ColdSweat and initiated within 30 days of delivery. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Packaging Requirement All returned GDI products must be in their original, undamaged packaging.
Return Freight & Restocking Fees The following fees apply based on the condition of the returned product:
- New, unopened products: The customer is responsible for the original outbound freight cost plus return freight. Return freight will be charged at 120% of the original outbound freight amount.
- Opened or assembled but unused products: Subject to the freight charges above plus a 20% restocking fee.
- Opened, assembled, and used products: Not eligible for return.
Additional Charges Additional manufacturer or carrier charges may apply, including but not limited to storage, handling, rerouting, and redelivery fees. Any such charges will be communicated during the return authorization process.
Refund Timing Refunds for GDI products will be issued only after the returned product has been received and inspected by the manufacturer or fulfillment partner.
